Major retailers in the Sapulpa area determined that a large percentage of their customers actually come from the area outside of Sapulpa.

Seventy-five percent (75%) of the restaurant customers and sixty percent (60%) of discount and farm/home customers come from outside the Sapulpa area.


Retailers in Sapulpa enjoy a large retail buying population that reaches far beyond the city limits. Shoppers come from the north, south, east and west, including Tulsa, Jenks, Bristow and Sand Springs. Total retail buying population is 184,513 shoppers.





The average household income is $51,045 for the Sapulpa area, which exceeds the state average.
Sapulpa has a diverse population of all ages. However, almost 32% of the population are 21-44 years of age.


Sapulpa is proud of its manufacturing heritage. Some of Creek County’s largest manufacturers are located in the Sapulpa area, including T.D. Williamson, Greenbay Packaging, Bartlett Collins Glass, St. Gobain Containers and Bennett Steel. Service providers, BIOS Corporation and St. John Sapulpa, are proud to call Sapulpa their home.
Sapulpa continues to see growth. Currently Sapulpa has 29 new residential developments. Five commercial sites and seven industrial sites are being built or are completed, with space available for new development. Traffic counts are high, especially in the areas of New Sapulpa Road and the four major thoroughfares serving the community.
