    HEALTH CARE

The hospital, first known as Sapulpa City Hospital, was built in 1921. In 1957, the H.U. and Eva Maud Bartlett Foundation purchased the hospital and implemented rapid expansion to meet the community's growing needs.  The facility was renamed St. John Sapulpa in 2000.

A new kidney dialysis unit was built just south of the hospital. Designated as a critical access hospital by the state, St. John Sapulpa gives Creek County residents access to the region's most advanced medical technology and specialists through its affiliation with the St. John Health System. The hospital is licensed for 25 beds and offers 24-hour care in its emergency center. Sapulpa is also home to some of the states finest dentists, physicians, optometrists, chiropractors and physical therapists. Many have provided services to this community for years, continuing their education to advance to the latest in technology and training in their field. Other providers offer physical therapy, mental health testing, counseling, day treatment, individual, group and family therapy, drug and alcohol rehabilitation. There are several senior housing facilities and nursing homes in the area, offering independent and assisted living. A newly constructed senior retirement community, Inverness Village, offers a quality private long-term healthcare service.
